Rokr Swing Ride 3D Wooden Music Box Puzzle with LED is a swing carousel and music box in one, with built-in gear trains that turn the roof and chairs opposite the pillar while lights flicker and “Merry Go Round” plays.

Why it is listed here

It is both a working swing ride and a music box, so the finished piece moves, lights up and plays from one touch switch. Built-in gear trains turn the roof and chairs in the opposite direction to the pillar, which gives it more to watch than a single rotating part. The box includes wax, sandpaper, wire, lights and the music movement, and no glue is required.

What the build involves

Get 3 AAA batteries before you start, and wax the gears as the manual instructs so they rotate smoothly. The listing warns that some parts are fragile, so pop pieces out of the sheets slowly. Allow about 6 hours across a couple of sittings.
