NookMaster Cowboy Saloon DIY Book Nook Kit with LED is a bookshelf insert that opens onto a Western saloon with swinging doors, a wooden bar, poker tables and whiskey bottles, lit by warm pre-wired LEDs.
Why it is listed here
A saloon is a rare change of scene on a shelf where book nooks tend toward libraries, cafes and Japanese streets. The lighting uses a plain on/off switch in place of a touch sensor, and the LEDs come pre-wired. Parts fit together without glue, and the 6-8 hour build leaves room for detail work on the bar and tables.
What the build involves
Have 2 AAA batteries ready, since they are not in the box. No glue is needed, so dry-fit each stage against the illustrated instructions and test the LEDs before closing the walls. Measure your shelf first, as the finished model is over 6 inches on every side.
