Rokr Electric Steam Tractor 3D Wooden Puzzle with LED builds a red-and-black steam tractor towing a four-wheel trailer, with a working gearbox, spring suspension and flame-effect lamps in the furnace and chimney.

Why it is listed here

Rokr describes it as its first electric model: a built-in micro motor drives the wheels, so it runs forward and reverse instead of only turning by hand. The manual gearbox, spring shock absorbers and piston cylinders give the mechanism more to show than a static display model. At 469 pieces and a 5-hour published build, it sits between a quick desk project and a multi-weekend one.

What the build involves

Rub the gears with wax as the listing instructs, since smooth gears matter more with a motor driving them. Have 2 AAA batteries ready, and test forward, reverse and each gear position before attaching the trailer.
