Qwakay Wisdom Yearbook Library DIY Book Nook Kit with LED forms a round reading room in miniature, with a winding wooden staircase circling a central garden and shelves of vintage books and trinkets.
Why it is listed here
Its round book corner design, with a winding staircase wrapped around central greenery, gives it a different shape from the usual boxy alley nook. At 356 pieces and 6 to 8 hours it is one of the longer builds in this batch, better suited to a weekend than a single evening. The pre-wired LED module slots in after assembly with no soldering, which keeps the wiring step simple.
What the build involves
Some fragile decorative parts need silicone adhesive, which is not in the box, so get it along with 2 AAA batteries before you start. The LED module goes into its slot after assembly, so keep that slot clear and test the touch sensor once it is in. Measure for about 8.3 x 6.5 x 5.3 in before choosing a spot on the shelf.
Before you order
