Why it is listed here

Going by Kolipi’s own advice to allow 1-2 inches extra in each direction, it suits pieces up to about 4-5 inches square and 8-9 inches tall, such as a small metal model or a single 1:12 room vignette. The thicker base keeps it steady and lets several cases stack.

Using it on a kit

Remove the protective film from both sides of each panel before putting it together. Wind the USB fairy lights loosely around the base of the piece, or tuck them behind it, to add a glow to models without their own lighting. Keep the included cloth nearby for fingerprints.
