Where a single-point LED lights one spot, a wire string can be threaded along a shopfront, wound through a miniature tree or run over a garden arch for a scattered, starry effect. The soft wire holds whatever shape you bend it into, and the string is rated IP65, though the battery box is not waterproof. Using it on a kit
